We would like to invite you to our artivism initiative for the upcoming Tasmanian state election.

With your art you can inspire voters to cast their May Day votes for the Environment in Tasmania’s state election.

At our Foundation we believe in the power of artivism.  We are calling on you to create an artwork that inspires voters to Vote for the environment and climate.

This is a call out to artists who care about lutruwita/Tasmania’s environment.  You can be a Tasmanian artist and you can be from elsewhere, but care about the future of this wild southern island and it’s wildness.

We are tackling a global climate and biodiversity crisis.  Pollution, destruction of native forests and rainforests, habitat destruction, rampant fish farm expansion, threatened species loss and threats to wild places and wildlife threaten Tasmania’s nature and beauty.

We are appealing to Tasmanians to elect people to Tasmania’s parliament who will work for our environment and climate.  If people don’t want the destruction of our forests and wild places and wildlife then don’t vote for the candidates who promise to do destroy them.

Submit your Vote Environment artwork then we will roll them out into the community with maximum impact.  Distribution will be on our social media feed, we will print them as placards for our rally and we will provide a digital download of your poster for our supporters to display them in venues around the state in the lead up to the May 1st state election.

As an extra bonus we are offering a $500 prize to the entry that receives the most ‘votes’ on our Instagram feed.

You can also take the option to add in small type ‘proudly supporting Bob Brown Foundation’ as we embark on a BIG campaign for Vote Environment in this state election.

We hope you can join this change-making opportunity to join us and our campaign.  Also let any of your friends know who might also like to join in.
